Thai Yoga Massage

Thai massage is an ancient therapeutic practice originating in Thailand over 2,500 years ago, influenced by traditional Chinese medicine and Indian Ayurveda. It is a holistic approach to health that combines physical and energetic elements to promote relaxation, relieve tight muscles, and improve flexibility. You will leave feeling like you got a massage and did a yoga workout. You should feel connected to your body and totally refreshed afterward!

WHAT TO EXPECT

  1. Full-Body Flow: It’s all about working on your whole body and focusing on these energy lines called “Sen lines.”

  2. No Massage Table: You lie on a comfy mat on the floor as I move you through different stretches and apply pressure with my hands, elbows, knees, or even feet.

  3. No Oils: Unlike regular massages, there’s no oil involved, so you don’t leave feeling all greasy.

  4. You Stay Clothed: You wear comfy, loose clothes that will allow for movement (like yoga pants and a T-shirt)

  5. Yoga Vibes: I will stretch you out in these yoga-like poses, and it feels sooo good. There’s pulling, pressing, and rocking—kind of like assisted yoga.

  6. It’s Personal: The whole process is done mindfully and tuned in to what YOUR body needs. Sessions can range from 1-2 hours.

Pricing: I offer my massage sessions on a donation basis with a minimum contribution of $30, but its really up to what you can/want to pay. This structure allows flexibility while ensuring the session's value is honored.

Swedish Massage

Swedish massage is one of the most popular and widely practiced forms of massage therapy. Developed in the early 19th century, it uses a combination of long, flowing strokes and targeted techniques to relieve muscle tension, improve circulation, and enhance muscle function. Promotes relaxation and reduces stress, eases anxiety, and boosts overall mood.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  1. Targeted Work: Depending on the length of the session, the whole body may be addressed, or the focus can be on specific areas you want worked on.

  2. Massage Table: You will lie on a comfortable massage table with an adjustable face cradle, covered with sheets and a blanket to ensure warmth and privacy.

  3. Oils or Lotion: High-quality oils or lotion are used to facilitate smooth, flowing movements and provide moisture for your skin.

  4. Undressed: Expect to undress to your comfort level. You will remain appropriately covered with a sheet or towel in accordance with state laws.

  5. Spa Vibes: The session includes dim lighting and relaxing music to help you reach a deeper state of relaxation.

  6. It’s Personal: Every session is tailored to your preferences, including draping, pressure, and focus areas.

Pricing: I charge $1 per minute for these sessions, with an additional $20 outcall fee if you’d like me to come to your home. Sessions can be booked in 30-minute increments (30/60/90/120 minutes).
